YOU TELL FOLKS THAT YOU LOVE ME!

You tell folks that you love Me,
but how are they to really know?
Are you just being "politically correct?"
Or does your love for Me really show?

"If you love Me, keep My commandments,"
this is the way love for Me is known;
Those who will not do My bidding,
a lack of love for Me they've shown.

My wish should be your command,
if true discipleship you make a claim;
"Speak Lord your servant hears you,"
thus will be your "claim to fame."

So shall you be My true disciples,
as expressed by the life you live;
Having done all that I command you,
It's by grace that you stand, still.

To become a child of the King,
Should be everyone's greatest desire;
"He who believes and is baptized,
shall be saved" that very hour!
